Summary:
Kingstone got approval for a reduction in their Personal Umbrella rates in Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester Counties. The rate decrease is 10% compared to the previous base premium. In addition, there is now the availability to purchase increased limits of up to $5 million, subject to underwriting approval.
Kingstone’s latest Homeowners filing, implemented last October, includes a multi-policy discount. This provides 5-10% off the Homeowners premium if an insured has at least one other companion policy, including Personal Umbrella.
The rate decrease is effective February 15, 2016 for new business and April 1, 2016 for renewals.
